Here at Lex Pets, we focus on each dog one-on-one. Grooming can be stressful for some dogs, so an in-and-out service helps dogs feel more at ease. We're a cage-free salon with two separate playpen areas for the dogs to hang out and play while waiting to be picked up. Your dog isn't friendly? Or are you too nervous to be around other dogs? We can separate them with no problem. Our goal here is to keep the environment light and relaxing, with a little hint of fun! This helps not only the dogs but pet parents as well.

Lex Medina, started her career in journalism but grew disenchanted with the industry's focus on brevity over creativity. Seeking a change, she stumbled into a dog bathing position at PetSmart, where she discovered her passion for grooming. Despite limited opportunities for creativity at PetSmart, Lex pursued further training and eventually opened her own grooming shop. Her shop allows her to establish her own standards, educate pet parents, and provide personalized grooming services. Despite the challenges, Lex finds fulfillment in interacting with clients and their pets, and she appreciates the support of the Rye community.
