Tails Up Pet Resort & Spaw began in 1997 in Wapello, Iowa, then relocated to South Pittsburg, TN in 2001, where they started anew in a 500 sq ft storefront attached to a storage facility. Despite the challenges of relocation, the business flourished, necessitating three subsequent moves to larger locations. Today, in 2024, Tails Up operates out of a 9,600 sq ft building, grooming over 40 dogs daily and offering boarding, self-service dog washing, retail, and soon, day care services. Grateful for their community and loyal customers, they attribute their success to their unwavering support.
