Mary Kilpatrick, formerly a marketing and advertising director at Verizon, took a bold step in 2017 by purchasing her store. Despite not being a groomer herself, Mary's lifelong passion for dogs led her to seize the opportunity to own and personalize the store. Since taking ownership, Mary has doubled the business while fostering a work environment where every employee is valued and respected for their individuality. With a diverse staff who shares her passion for dogs, Mary's store stands out as a place of dedication and inclusivity. While there are two Community Bark locations, Mary owns just one, operating independently but sharing a website.
